Subscribed mods not downloading steam

Wasn't sure where to put this since I did not see a forum page for the launcher itself. I have been trying to get Warhammer 2 mods to download for a few days 2 since no other folders ever appeared in it after subscribing.

New mod manager for Warhammer 2. Contribute to Kaedrin/warhammer-mod-manager development by creating an account on GitHub. The mods are not actually installed correctly yet, Steam has only been downloaded the files it needs to start installing them.

I have subscribed to a couple of mods on steam workshop for arma 3 and after they download they don't seem to show up. In the past when this would happen I would keep the launcher open for a couple hours and the addons would show up but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

I currently have poor internet for downloading games or anything large (i.e. around 150 KB/s maximum download rate). When I subscribed to a very large Skyrim mod via the Workshop, the mod never got downloaded.After an hour of playing Skyrim without it, waiting for Skyrim to sync and the works, it never started downloading. I've just had the issue I have seen other people have where steam all of a sudden tries to re-download all of your subscribed mods. I found that if you click 'Local mod' in the Arma 3 launcher to add a mod locally and then navigate to the mod within the '!Workshop' folder you can add all of your subscribed mods. The only thing that you do put on the website is a Steam Workshops Mod URL. Mods from the Steam Workshop are found in the Steam Workshop content folder, the location of which depends on where you installed Steam. For the laptop I'm on right now, it's C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content and then a numbered sub-folder that corresponds to Civ VI and then numbered sub-sub-folders (containing zip files) for each mod. I've had some issues with the mods working and I've just discovered that if you click the game to play in Steam and just leave the launcher up for a bit, the mods will update. There's no progress bar or anything, so it's a bit confusing at first. You can notice it happening by starting the launcher and then immediately clicking Data Files. I just felt like playing civ5 again, and hit the same issue: no mods present. According to Steam Workshop I subscribed to a crapload of mods, according to Civ5 there are no mods installed. Trying to remove mod and cache files a mentioned in this thread did not help either. Steam isnt downloading subscribed mods i went to jump on ark the other day and the game was crashing just before i was able to join my friend. So i went and and un subbed all my mods that i had recently downloaded. Still failed to join so i tested the game cache a few times. 1 file needed to be reacquired. So ideleted the game.

Subscribe to mod on the workshop Run Skyrim from steam, which will bring up the launcher.
